“Since the fall of 2015, we have met regularly with official-language stakeholders to hear their concerns. The discussion led to our Action Plan for Official Languages 2018–2023: Investing in Our Future, which rests on the following commitments: Strengthening partnerships with official-language stakeholders, communities and organizations. Investing new funding for official languages to address the concerns raised in the consultation and through our analysis of the data. *Demonstrating greater transparency and accountability in government funding and favouring evidence-based and grassroots-driven policy decisions”
