Promise History

2.06.01 - “A re-elected CAQ government] will provide $100 million to community organizations for the creation of 500 respite spaces to help families living with a child with a disability […] This new investment of $100 million to create 500 new respite spaces will help these families in concrete ways. […] [These] respite spaces [will] be able to accommodate for a few hours or a few days children, both minors and adults, who are living with a disability or an autism spectrum disorder”

The promise continues to be fulfilled thanks to multi-million payments.

“In Budget 2023-2024, a further $50.0 million over five years is announced to provide additional respite services. This amount will fund new spaces for people with disabilities, both minors and adults”
