The 2022 Quebec general election held on October 3, 2022 resulted in a second decisive victory for the Coalition avenir Québec (CAQ), led by François Legault. The CAQ won 90 of the 125 seats in the National Assembly, 16 more than in 2018, with 40.98% of the popular vote.

2.12.08 - “During its first mandate, the CAQ undertook to increase admissions in medicine programs. The plan now is to admit an additional 660 medical students over the next four years. On top of this, the CAQ will put other measures in place, including scholarships and programs, and train another 5000 more professionals in its second mandate”
